FDA and CDC Sign Memorandum of Understanding
To help maximize efforts to reduce foodborne illness and advance the shared mission to protect public health, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center of Environmental Health have entered into a memorandum of understanding. This milestone strengthens and aligns the work of FDA and CDC and is an important part of retail modernization work conducted under FDA’s New Era of Smarter Food Safety blueprint.
