he Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) offer an Environmental Assessment Training Series known as EATS. This two-part course is geared toward environmental health professionals and food safety program officials working within government agencies. Participants will learn to identify an outbreak’s environmental causes, recommend appropriate control measures, and practice conducting virtual environmental assessments.
The EATS course is available for free and hosted online by the CDC. Participants can earn continuing education units (CEUs) after completing the course and final evaluation.
